On my Instagram story this morning, I showed you how I made some DELICIOUS granola bars with my new food processor, and after several requests, I’ve decided to share my top secret recipe!
Store-bought granola bars are often filled with preservatives, artificial flavors and tons of added sugar. I adapted this recipe from some bars we used to sell at a café where I worked, and added some protein powder for an extra boost.
I love Sun Warrior products, made from plant-based protein sources like hemp, pea and goji berry, so I added a scoop of their chocolate protein powder, but you could use cacao instead too! You could also throw in other superfoods like hemp hearts or maca for an even more nutritious snack.
